Citroën India has revised the pricing of the recently launched ë-C3X and provided a clearer picture of the features offered across its three variants - Live, Live (O), and Shine. The updated model is positioned as a more premium and feature-rich version of the standard ë-C3, with noticeable improvements in design, comfort, and equipment. While the core mechanicals remain similar to the ë-C3, the ë-C3X stands out with its refreshed styling and better-equipped cabin, making it more appealing to individual buyers rather than just fleet operators.

Live Variant

The Live is the entry-level variant of the ë-C3X. It comes with an ex-showroom price of ₹11.99 lakh. After the introductory consumer offer, the net effective price stands at ₹10.49 lakh. Under the BaaS scheme, the Live variant is priced at ₹6.89 lakh with a battery EMI of ₹2.26 per km.

On the outside, it features a matte black front grille, body side sill panels, and sash tape on the A/B pillars. Inside, the cabin uses a single-tone black theme with Electric Blu accents on the instrument panel. It is equipped with a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system along with MyCitroën Connect and the C-Buddy personal assistant application. For safety, it comes with dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, and reverse parking sensors.

Live (O) Variant

The Live (O) variant carries an ex-showroom price of ₹12.35 lakh. With the current introductory offer, the net effective price comes down to ₹10.85 lakh, while the BaaS price is ₹7.09 lakh.

This variant builds on the Live with added features such as signature LED daytime running lights, body-coloured door handles, satin chrome accents on the steering wheel and door handles, and remote keyless entry. It also gets wireless smartphone connectivity and additional safety features like a high-speed alert system and speed-sensitive auto door locks.

Shine Variant

The Shine is the top-spec variant of the ë-C3X. It is priced at ₹13.26 lakh (ex-showroom). After the introductory benefit, the net effective price stands at ₹12.25 lakh, while the BaaS pricing is ₹8.30 lakh.

The Shine variant offers the most comprehensive set of features. It includes premium leatherette upholstery with Electric Blu accents, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a wireless charger, rear wiper, rear defogger, and a rear view camera. It also gets alloy wheels, glossy black roof rails, and additional safety features such as rear door manual child locks.

Feature Comparison Across Variants

The three variants of the ë-C3X follow a clear progression in features and premium appeal. The base Live variant focuses on essential features and practicality. The Live (O) adds meaningful convenience with wireless connectivity, keyless entry, and extra safety functions. The Shine variant stands out with a more premium cabin, featuring leatherette upholstery, a leather steering wheel, a wireless charger, and a rear camera. While all variants share the same platform and driving experience, the higher variants deliver noticeably better comfort, technology, and overall refinement.

Key Highlights

Overall, the ë-C3X offers buyers a more upmarket alternative to the standard ë-C3 with improved styling, better interior quality, and a wider range of features across its variants. The model continues to focus on delivering a comfortable ride, practical space, and everyday usability, while giving buyers the flexibility to choose between different levels of equipment depending on their needs and budget.

With the revised pricing now in place, Citroën has made the positioning of each variant clearer for customers. The ë-C3X continues to be positioned as a more premium and feature-rich electric hatchback, offering buyers more structured choices across the Live, Live (O), and Shine variants.

It is very over priced. Should have been upgraded to 44 kWh and should have had liquid cooling thermal management.
