New EV Query
Help in selecting new Nexon EV
After extensive research and test drives I've shortlisted Nexon EV but I'm confused which variant to select. I'm confused between 3 variants - Fearless, Empowered and Empowered+A. Also is there an Empowered+ without ADAS?
My requirement - monthly running of 1000+KMs. 30% of the route is traffic and remaining is good roads with some weekend outings which will use the highways.
Please help.

ADAS in Nexon is camera based which can cause trouble in certain situations. The advantage of Empowered over the fearless will be the inclusion of 360° camera.
Users are getting close to 350km range in the Nexon 45. Will fit perfectly for the use case. The only drawback being the service. But there are some community members who can help get issues resolved.

I will say pick. Empowered without adas. Camera based ADAS doesn't add as much value

A lot depends what vehicle you were using earlier .. what features you definitely require and then come those features which make you feel the upgrade .. they also could be a part of your expectations from an EV ..

I meant to ask the vehicle you have been driving and I understand it's your 1st EV.. Had you driven one earlier, you wouldn't have asked the kind of questions you enquired 😁 .. You answered Hinda City but you haven't answered the two questions I asked in regards to features you have been using and want those for sure .. and .. secondly the features you surely wish to go for which you kinda missed in your earlier vehicle ..

This will be for my wife's daily commute and our short trips. Primarily I'm buying for the driving experience. The more useful features the better. The most important feature for us is ventilated seats given the unforgiving heat of Ahmedabad.

Short trips .. 😀 .. I kinda hear this from a lot of first time EV seekers .. Buddy, you defination to short trips may change much earlier than expected .. Anyway the vehicle you have selected is completely capable of short as well as long trips .. I used a similar vehicle for my all over expedition around India, Nepal & Bhutan, back in 2022 and covered 17000 kms .. I suggest you go for the top variant not only b'coz you require ventilated seats but also for the V2L/V2V .. You might find it useful a lot of times .. 🙂

A) are you letting go of your Honda City? Is it petrol or diesel?
B) which city are you located in?
Fearless will take care of all your requirements. 1000 km per month is absolutely nothing for any EV. So you can rest assured with respect to the powertrain.
Whether to go for the other three empowered variants is basically a question of your budget and additional features you are looking for. They will not necessarily change your EV owning experience.
