New EV Query

New EV around 20L

I am planning to switch to an EV. It will be a car for my office travel only. I do not do car outstation trips. My monthly drive is 1600-1800 kms. 20-22 days travel from Noida to Gurgaon and back. I am confused between BE6 pack1 and Creta. I like the conventional design of Creta but my wife likes BE6. But we have come to an agreement that we will go with the expert advices. We are open to other cars as well. But these 2 seem good as per youtube videos. If some owners can share their experiences that will be great.

Both are good and efficient cars. The main differentiating factor is the battery chemistry. Do you have any specific features is mind which you necessarily want? What is your height? Have you taken a test drive yet of any of them?

Drive BE6 and see if it suits your current and upcoming needs. If it does, there is no other carvlike that. Go for it. Creta is so Mundane. Also Creta is not value for money for what it offers.

Both are good cars but if you plan to keep it for long and in the future ever take it on outstation trips, the BE6 is a clear winner. LFP battery plus extremely fast charging speeds. If you are 100% sure it's always going to be city only and home charged, Creta is a mature and glitch free option.

I have decided to test drive both. My car will be 100% for office. Haven't done a single outstation on car ever. Don't know about the future. Will be charging at home. Office parking also has EV charger installed.

Based on 20L option, you will get Creta Executive (O) LR which is at 19.99 lakh where as BE6 Pack 1 comes for 18.9 lakh In my opinion, you should pick BE6 Pack 1 - Reason 1. Bigger battery 2. More powerful car 3. Better charging speed 4. Pure driving pleasure 5. Similarly specced as Creta. Owner experiences of both Creta and BE6 are great.

But I have heard Creta LR gives more range than BE6 Pack 1. That should mean less charging cycles right?

A ~50km extra range will not outdo the total LFP charging cycles. Since you'll be charging at home or office as per your previuos replies, range or charging anxiety will not be an issue. You should decide based on your driving, comfort and feature requirements. The driving experience of BE6 is unmatched. Better than XEV in my opinion.

BE6 Pack 1 should give similar range as Creta LR. 8 KW extra battery equals it up
