Mahindra BE6 Pack 2 Review

I wanted to share my initial impressions of the Mahindra BE 6 Pack 2 59kWh, after owning it for the past 1.5 months. I appreciate the valuable insights from several members here during my decision-making process—it made all the difference.

My wife and I both work in the same office in Gurgaon, so this serves as our primary vehicle for the daily commute from Noida and back, which totals well over 100 km. It has proven reliable and efficient for this routine.

On charging, I typically plug it in every four days, with around 60 km of range remaining. My home charging setup has been more than adequate, so I haven't needed to use DC fast charging at all.

The driving experience is generally excellent—smooth and responsive, as one would expect from an EV. That said, I've noticed occasional software lag, particularly with the steering controls, where I sometimes need to input the command twice. It's a minor issue that occurs infrequently, so it hasn't been a significant concern.

I can now see the appeal of EV road trips that many discuss, but since I prefer to avoid long drives during vacations, this will remain our dedicated commuter vehicle.
