Charging interruption in XEV 9E

I hav a 3 years old Nexon Max driven 85k kms. Recently i bought a XEV 9E and installed a 22kW charger at my premises. Recently i came across an issue while AC charging (11kW) in my XEV 9E. While charging im seeing the charging abruptly stop sometime. While if i initiate the charge in the morning it, it resumes and went till 100%. The above issue inface is nt everytime rather occasionally in my 9E. I tried Mahindra SC which they don't hav any answer. I hav checked all testing bt couldn't find the reason

Does full charge happen only during mornings and other times it stop? Or there is no fixed pattern to it.

No fixed pattern, out of 5 times it happens once. Sometime charge stop at 70% sometime 92%. I think it might be due to excess voltage during winter. I usually see 250v at night. At the same time the same charger with Nexon Max, never saw any problem

Nexon Max does not have the same safety mechanism as XEV. You're right, this might be because of high voltage in your electricity grid during specific times. Though there is no risk to your XEV, but if you find the issue to be cumbersome then you can have a stabilizer installed for your 3 phase connection.

Hi, The Mahindra BEVs count voltage spikes and if the spikes are more than a threshold then it stops charging for sometime. Try and see if a pattern emerges. Try changing the time for charging as well. Most likely the fix has to be done by grid and not by Mahindra.

Mu guess are same, ik planning to record the voltage graph. Bt again this is something i can live with.

How much is your sanction load ? Don't worry .. since you using a 32 amps charger, you just need to set it to 16 amps, and you should not face any issues but you still will be able to charge over 11kW ..

I have a 3 phase supply. I don't think Sanction load is any issue, as the problem didn't occur all the time,

If that's not the problem, then just set the amps to 16 and you won't face the same again
