I covered a massive 8,100 km this month between my MG ZS EV (5,000 km) and Nexon EV Max (3,100 km), and the results are a masterclass in EV efficiency. After accounting for a few hundred rupees in baseline load on the meter, my total charging cost was approximately ₹9,580, bringing my running cost to a staggering ₹1.18 per km. In a world where a comparable petrol SUV would have easily cost over ₹65,000 in fuel for the same distance, switching to electric has effectively saved me over ₹55,000 in a single month—proving that for high-mileage drivers, the "EV math" isn't just better; it's unbeatable.

This is astonishing but not surprising. But complete 8,100 km on home charging?

Yes we have multiple ICE vehicle in my family. Drivers use EVs mainly in NCR. My cars are entirely charged at home. Maybe another 5% charging at office in emergency.
