VinFast has increased the prices of its VF6 and VF7 electric SUVs in India. The VF6 range gets a uniform ₹90,000 price hike, while the VF7 becomes ₹1.10 lakh to ₹1.13 lakh more expensive, depending on the variant.

Following the revision, the VF6 is now priced between ₹18.19 lakh and ₹20.09 lakh, while the VF7 ranges from ₹22.99 lakh to ₹28.09 lakh, ex-showroom.

VF6 Gets a ₹90,000 Hike

The VF6 is available in three variants: Earth, Wind and Wind Infinity. The latest revision increases prices across the range by ₹90,000.

The VF6 uses a 59.6 kWh battery. Depending on the variant, it produces 174 bhp or 201 bhp and offers a claimed range of up to 468 km. The SUV also supports DC fast charging of up to 100 kW.

Features include a 12.9-inch touchscreen, ventilated front seats and Level 2 ADAS on selected variants.

VF7 Gets a Hike of Up to ₹1.13 Lakh

The larger VF7 is available in five variants. Its latest price increase ranges from ₹1.10 lakh to ₹1.13 lakh, depending on the variant. The revised price range now stands at ₹22.99 lakh to ₹28.09 lakh, ex-showroom.

The VF7 is offered with different battery and motor configurations. The range includes single-motor front-wheel-drive versions as well as dual-motor all-wheel-drive variants. Higher-spec versions offer up to 349 bhp and 500 Nm of torque.

What the Price Revision Means

The latest increase raises the upfront cost of both VinFast SUVs as the company continues to build its presence in India's electric vehicle market.

The VF6 now starts at ₹18.19 lakh, while the VF7 starts at ₹22.99 lakh. Both models therefore move into price brackets where buyers have several electric SUVs to consider.

The latest revision follows an earlier price increase after VinFast's introductory pricing period ended. The company has now revised the prices of its two main electric SUVs more than once since their India launch.

The VF6 and VF7 were introduced in India as VinFast's first electric SUVs. The company has since expanded its portfolio with the VF MPV 7 and continues to build its sales and service network in the country.

For buyers, the latest change is straightforward: the VF6 is now ₹90,000 more expensive across its range, while the VF7 has become ₹1.10 lakh to ₹1.13 lakh costlier depending on the variant.

With VinFast continuing to expand in India, the revised pricing will be an important factor in how its electric SUVs compete in an increasingly competitive market.
