I had lodged a complaint on the CPGRAMS (Public Grievance Portal) on 10th March 2026, regarding an EV charging station at a petrol pump in Ranchi (Jharkhand) not working.
In response, I have received a reply today by registered post from the Territory Manager (Retail), Ranchi, BPCL.
He has informed that a request has been made to JBVNL for the installation of a higher-capacity transformer at the concerned petrol pump.
This is required to cater to the simultaneous load of the EV charging station, CNG, petrol, and diesel.
It is expected that the transformer may be installed within the next 1–2 months.
